On the Banks of the Rhine,
Germany - 20 March 1945
Dear Prof,
The February "Bulletin" is at hand, and the news of your leaving Wagner, Prof, comes as a terrible jolt. I know you must be doing the right thing, but I hate to think of the college without you. I hope it won't mean a return to the inept presidents that preceded you.

Prof, for all you have done for me personally. The counsel you have given me, and the encouragement, have been most helpful.

I hate to see you go - but the best of luck in your new work.
Cordially,
Bob Olwig
