Mr. Edwin Markham,
92 Waters Ave.,
West New Brighton, N.Y.
My dear Mr. Markham:
I am in receipt of your letter of the 9th, and in reply would say that I think, perhaps, it would be better to publish your two poems in our September issue of The Humanitarian. [handwrittien: Please send the one on Russia.] I shall do my utmost to arrange so that you will recite both poems at the Madison Square Garden meeting, but I think it were best to have one appearance, -- simply recite the one on Kerensky as a tribute to the Russian race and the other, dedicated to The Cult.
What do you think of my suggestion?
Sincerely yours,
Misha Appelbaum
