Dear Dr. Stoughton ~
Just thought I’d drop you a note to say that I have just received the February 28th booklet of “The Lutheran.” It was sent through Mother via Air Mail.
I enjoyed reading it, altho I have my doubts whether you now look as young as that photo on the cover!
Received two letters from Wagnerians yesterday. One from Steve Kost who is still pushing bombs into the bellies of Flying Forts in England. The other from Walter Morton, now a Lt. (jg) in the Naval Reserve, off to a good start as chaplain.
Well, this is just a note to let you know that even The Marianers know who the new U.L.C.A. Stewardship Secretary will be.
Yours very sincerely,
Roland
