Corporal Irving Green
4th Mapping Squadron
March Field
Riverside, California
Dear Irving:
I didn’t know that you were in the Army Air Forces, and was, therefore, glad to hear from you.
Certainly, I thoroughly understand your financial situation, and we had not expected that any of you lads who are in service, would be able to do anything in the campaign. It was good, however, to have your encouragement and I appreciate that thoroughly.
We have a rather large summer school this year, and everything is moving along very rapidly. We are, of course, very uncertain about next fall, but we shall manage to steer through somehow.
Cordial greetings from all of us.
Sincerely yours,
C.C. Stoughton,
President.
