BASIC TRAINING CENTER (NO. 4)
1147 TECHNICAL SCHOOL SQUADRON Flight I
MIAMI BEACH, FLA.

Dear Mr. Stoughton,
I was more than happy to hear from you and as you listed the statistics on men in service, it seems to me that Wagner representatives are doing mighty well. It is without an element of doubt that one is elated to know Wagner continues to go forth.
As for me I have been told to file application for Officer Candidate School, so that to begin with is a good start. I also have been slated for Signal School training after my basic training is completed. The outfit that I am in is the Signal Corp. allied with the Air-force thus my chance for Signal school training.
[Page 2]
Miami would be a more enjoyable place if I were here for a different pretense instead of preparaton for war. However, God works in a mysterious way and those who live in accordance with his ways shall see the light.
With my very best regards to the faculty whose understanding and teaching have made me a better soldier
Sincerely,
Harold Larsen
P.S. - It was thoughtful to send the "Wagner College Bulletin" - it brought back fond memories - Thank you.
